Ariana Grande Takes Centre Stage in Swarovski's Theatrical Holiday Musical JOY

Ariana Grande has stepped into the spotlight as the leading lady of Swarovski’s 2026 holiday campaign, JOY: The Swarovski Musical, reported on 27 and 28 October 2026. The theatrical presentation casts the singer as a stage star in three musical-inspired acts, with jewellery from four Swarovski collections sharing the stage.
A musical, not a catalogue shoot
Rather than presenting the seasonal jewellery in a conventional fashion advertisement, Swarovski built the campaign around the feeling of a musical, HOLR Magazine reported. Grande appears at the centre of a stage world of feathers, octagonal set pieces and the house’s signature colours, each act styled around a different combination of pieces from the Millenia, Una, Mesmera and Vienna collections.
Giovanna Engelbert, Swarovski’s global creative director, conceived the campaign, Retail Jeweller reported. “With JOY, I wanted to capture the magic of the holiday season, bringing together the glamour of classic musicals with a modern sense of fantasy, beauty and joyful extravagance,” Engelbert said. “Everything is larger than life, full of color and shining surprises.” The campaign film was directed by Christian Breslauer, according to HOLR Magazine.
Three acts, three looks
The opening act pays tribute to Fred Astaire. Grande appears in a top hat and tailcoat on a grand staircase, surrounded by dancers in black coat tails, Fashion Times reported, wearing layered Millenia necklaces with Vienna earrings, rings and brooches in precision-cut clear crystal.
The second act turns to ballet and Margot Fonteyn. Grande wears a tutu with pieces from the Vienna and Mesmera collections, including a tiara, Swarovski said. The Vienna designs take feather-like forms inspired by the brand’s swan emblem, while Mesmera brings together crystals in mixed cuts.
For the final act, Grande embodies her pop-icon status in a gown styled with Una necklaces, a ring and a watch, stepping off stage to be surrounded by an audience before taking a front-row seat in Vienna and Mesmera designs, Swarovski said.
An ongoing partnership
The campaign continues Grande’s role as Swarovski’s global brand ambassador, HOLR Magazine reported. Fashion Times reported the Vienna Tiara at $680 and the Mesmera Choker at $299 among the featured pieces. For readers following celebrity style into the holidays, the campaign is less a single look than a reminder of how a jewellery house now launches a season: as a show, with the star as its leading lady.
