Celebrity Halloween Costumes 2026: Kim Kardashian as North West Leads the Early Looks
Halloween does not officially arrive until Saturday, 31 October, but celebrities have not waited. Stars have been sharing their costumes early, and the strongest theme so far is imitation: famous faces dressing as other famous faces, People reported.
Kim Kardashian turns into North West
The most talked-about look came from Kim Kardashian, who dressed as her daughter, North West, 13. People reported that Kardashian wore electric blue hair, long nails and North’s gothic style. Khaleej Times reported the photographs were shared on Instagram on 20 October.
North had dressed as reality television star Natalie Nunn. People reported that in a TikTok video posted on 21 October, North lip-synced to a Nicki Minaj line before appearing with a dark bob wig and a prosthetic chin. The following day, Nunn returned the favour by dressing as North, Billboard reported.
Paris Hilton, twice over
Paris Hilton has already served up two costumes. People reported that Hilton and her family dressed as characters from Beauty and the Beast, with Hilton as Belle, and that she faced criticism for taking the Belle role herself. People reported that Hilton explained her two-year-old daughter, London, had said she wanted to dress as Chip, her favourite character.
Hilton’s other look paid tribute to her friend Britney Spears. Billboard reported that Hilton recreated Spears’s 2001 MTV Video Music Awards performance of “I’m a Slave 4 U”, complete with a snake, for the fourth Halloween in a row. She wore a green top, rhinestone-covered shorts and glittering boots, Khaleej Times reported.
Keke Palmer and Leo recreate “Scream”
Keke Palmer, 33, and her three-year-old son Leodis, known as Leo, recreated Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson’s 1995 “Scream” music video. USA Today reported that Palmer dressed as Janet, with spiky hair and a futuristic black outfit, while Leo channelled Michael with slicked-back hair, in a black-and-white shoot echoing the original. The outlet reported that Janet Jackson herself responded with a heart emoji.
The tribute continues a Halloween tradition for the pair. MJVibe reported that the pair previously dressed as Snoop Dogg and Bow Wow in 2025.
The early looks set the tone
Other stars have joined the early rollout. People reported that tennis star Caroline Wozniacki and her husband David Lee dressed as Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, while Victoria Justice marked her single “Love Zombie: The Resurrection” with a Halloween party themed around the song.
With the main night still to come on Saturday, more costumes are expected. Billboard said it was keeping track of the best looks as they appear.
