Hila Klein Accuses Husband Ethan Klein of Months-Long Affair as H3 Podcast Crew Walks Out
One of the internet's most-watched marriages is ending in public. Hila Klein has accused her husband Ethan Klein of carrying on an affair for more than six months, confirmed the couple are separating — and within hours, the entire H3 Podcast crew announced they would no longer work with Ethan.
In a lengthy Instagram statement posted on October 23, the 38-year-old Teddy Fresh founder said she had sensed something was wrong for months, writing that Ethan had admitted to the affair only after she confronted him over shifting explanations, according to USA Today's account of the statement. What was first described as "just a kiss" became "emotional cheating" before he acknowledged an affair lasting over six months, she wrote. "The betrayal I feel is immeasurable," she said.
The revelation landed one day after Ethan, 41, announced on October 22 that the couple's popular H3 Podcast was going on an indefinite hiatus, Just Jared reported — a hiatus that arrived without an explanation or return date.
The crew chooses Hila
Shortly after Hila's statement appeared, members of the podcast's production team shared their own statement on the show's official Instagram page, saying they were "shocked, angry, and heartbroken" and that they stand with Hila. "As soon as we found out, we all agreed: we would not continue working with Ethan involved or profiting in any way," the crew wrote, per Entertainment Weekly's reporting — leaving the future of the H3 Podcast uncertain.
Ethan breaks his silence
On Friday afternoon, Ethan addressed the fallout on his Instagram story. He asked the public not to contact his family, writing, "They have nothing to do with this and share in your outrage and disappointment," and said he was working with Hila to "urgently remove my ownership and financial stakes in any podcasts, Teddy Fresh, Teddy Glow or any joint venture" he would profit from, Just Jared reported.
The Kleins met in Israel in 2007, launched the h3h3Productions YouTube channel in 2011, married in 2012 and share three young sons, USA Today noted. What began as a comedy channel became a media operation — and now, its future depends on whether Hila and the crew can rebuild it without Ethan.
