Justin Bieber Spotted Relaxed in Seoul as Carl Lentz Book Claim About 2020 Apartment Row Resurfaces

Justin Bieber looked relaxed on a trip to Seoul, South Korea, with his wife, Hailey Bieber, in photographs obtained by Page Six and published on 30 October, as claims by his former pastor, Carl Lentz, and his wife, Laura Lentz, in their new book resurfaced.
The Seoul photographs
Page Six reported that Bieber, 32, was photographed reclining while chatting with friends and holding a paper cup, wearing a blue and grey sweatsuit with red shades, while Hailey, 29, wore black with an oversized leather jacket and sunglasses.
The images were published days after Page Six reported the Lentzes’ account of a 2020 dispute over a New York apartment, from their book Overcoming Infidelity: 10 Conversations to Help You Heal the Hurt, published on 20 October. The Daily Mail first reported the book’s claims on Thursday, Page Six said, and Just Jared also covered the story on 29 October.
What the book claims
According to the Lentzes, the Biebers had invited Carl, Laura and their three children — Ava, 22, Charlie, 20, and Roman, 17 — to stay in the couple’s New York apartment while the family considered a move to Brooklyn, telling them to use the place as long as needed, Page Six reported.
The Lentzes say that offer was withdrawn once reports of Carl’s infidelity surfaced in November 2020. Laura wrote that somebody on Justin’s team called to say they needed to leave within 24 hours, and that the family hastily packed into a rented U-Haul, according to Page Six.
Carl described the move as a “kick to the ribs” when he was, in his words, “already down for the count” after being fired from Manhattan’s Hillsong Church over “moral failures” and “breaches of trust.” He wrote that he deserved to be “kicked to the curb,” but that his wife and children were innocent bystanders, Page Six reported.
Carl Lentz’s reflection
Carl wrote that he now understands he put Justin and Hailey in a difficult position, dragging them, in his words, into a “publicity nightmare they never asked for,” Page Six reported. The reports did not quote any response from Justin or Hailey Bieber. Page Six reported that Justin has never commented publicly on Carl’s cheating scandal, and that he and Hailey unfollowed the Lentz family on social media in 2020.
A long friendship
The falling-out ended a friendship dating back to 2008, Page Six reported. Justin briefly lived with the Lentz family in New Jersey in 2014, and Carl performed Justin’s baptism in 2015. The claims remain the Lentzes’ account as reported by Page Six, the Daily Mail and Just Jared, and Starlight News has not independently verified the private conversations described in the book.
